Behind the music

About Changing Faces.

Changing Faces is a Slovak drum and bass producer and DJ whose route into the genre began with hip-hop beats. Discovering High Contrast’s remix of Calvin Harris’s Ready For The Weekend prompted a change of direction, first towards liquid drum and bass and later towards the dancefloor sound he had long wanted to make.

He began producing in his teens, working in FL Studio before progressing from free downloads to official releases and DJ bookings. In a 2022 interview, he described melody, feeling, and arrangement as the parts of production that interested him most, while explaining how he had used the pandemic to improve his technical skills. That emphasis on musicality sits alongside a deliberate move towards more energetic productions.

His vocal collaborations include Worlds Apart (feat. Cameron Hayes). In May 2025, his Anjunabeats debut was Rush (Changing Faces Remix), a drum and bass remix of the SØNIN and BLR song featuring Brieanna Grace. His original releases also include Drop It Low, Atmosphere, and Rising Higher.

Alongside releasing and performing, Changing Faces offers production mentoring, drawing on his own experience of moving between styles and developing his studio practice.
