Behind the music
About GLXY.
GLXY is the drum and bass duo of Tom and Jonathan, who began making music together while studying at the University of Leicester. Both came to the partnership with a musical background, and their work developed around melody, synth textures, and collaborations with vocalists.
The project emerged in 2015 and signed exclusively to Shogun Audio in 2017. Lucid received a Radio 1 premiere from René LaVice and subsequent support from Annie Mac. The Vision and Chiral EPs continued the label relationship, with DRS and SOLAH among the singers and MCs who have worked with the pair.
In 2020, GLXY released their debut album, Research & Development. The project gave their melodic approach a longer form and included She Sings for Me with DRS. They also released Young Hearts with Degs that year.
