Behind the music
About Jade Venom.
Jade Venom is the darker, more aggressive alias of Hungarian producer Jade, founder of Eatbrain. While Jade is known for pioneering the label’s signature neurofunk sound, Jade Venom represents his most uncompromising, high-intensity output, crafted for the heaviest corners of the drum & bass spectrum.
Launched as a way to explore a more venomous, hard-edged approach, Jade Venom tracks feature razor-sharp sound design, ferocious basslines and relentless energy. Releases such as Scared Now? on the Divergence VI compilation exemplify the alias’s brutal aesthetic, designed for peak-time club and festival destruction.
Through Jade Venom, Jade expands the Eatbrain mythology, giving fans a distinct persona within the wider universe of the label. It stands as both a creative outlet and an extension of Eatbrain’s sci-fi infused identity, embodying the raw, untamed spirit of neurofunk.
