About Lee Mvtthews.
Lee Mvtthews are New Zealand drum and bass duo Graham Matthews and Tom Lee. They met in 2012 and began working together after discovering a shared taste in music, forming the project in 2013. Their records have developed alongside a live career rooted in New Zealand’s festival circuit.
Their debut album, Bones, arrived in 2019, followed by Exit in 2024. Between those albums, Takeover, featuring NÜ, became one of their best-known recordings. They also received Best Electronic Artist at the Aotearoa Music Awards in 2020.
Vocal collaborations run through the catalogue. More recent releases include Who Do You Run To with Cammie Robinson and Out Of Time with Gia Santho, both released in 2026.
Lee Mvtthews have released through labels including Elevate Records and Liquicity, while taking their performances beyond New Zealand to Australia, Europe, the UK, and the USA.
