Behind the music
About Levia.
Levia is a Swedish producer working across drum and bass, industrial metal, and Vocaloid music. Based in Uppsala, the project combines original recordings with remixes, with releases featuring Kasane Teto, Hatsune Miku, and GUMI.
The 2025 single Phantasm features Kasane Teto. Its writing centres on questions of identity and belonging, with a recurring refrain about being unable to escape what we are. Levia’s wider work includes MIND CONTROL and THROUGH THE MAIL, the latter bringing Kasane Teto together with Hatsune Miku and Akita Neru.
Collaboration continued in 2026 with Fox Rush on Lullaby, featuring GUMI, and with bitbreaker on Hey Chat!. Remix work includes reinterpretations of VIDEOMANCER’s Remember to Breathe and Zynthesiren’s Ragebait, placing Levia’s own writing alongside contributions to other artists’ songs.
