Liquefaction

Liquefaction is a drum and bass producer and DJ, distinct from any artists of other genres using similar names. Emerging in the 2020s, Liquefaction has built a focused catalogue rooted firmly in contemporary DnB, with releases hosted on Spotify and supported across specialist platforms.

Debuting in 2022 with Feel So Deep, Liquefaction introduced a polished, melodic sound that blends rolling drums, weighty subs and emotive vocal textures. Subsequent singles refined this formula, leading to the 2025 release Sweet, which underlined the project’s commitment to clean production, dancefloor energy and modern liquid sensibilities. While not yet profiled in depth by UKF, Resident Advisor or Wikipedia, Liquefaction’s output sits comfortably within the current wave of streamlined, club-ready drum and bass.

In the studio, Liquefaction favours crisp percussion, warm low-end and smooth chord progressions, delivering tracks designed for both late-night listening and peak-time sets. On the live front, DJ performances showcase a precise mixing style and tightly curated selections that align with today’s liquid, rolling and vocal-led DnB sounds. With a steadily growing following and a clear sonic identity, Liquefaction is an emerging name contributing to the new school of drum and bass artists.
