Behind the music
About Medicine.
Medicine is an English drum and bass producer and DJ whose records move between melodic liquid, jump-up and vocal-driven dancefloor music. His relationship with Make Your Era began in 2023, when he became the first artist to join the label’s roster. The four-track Find Some Soul EP introduced that partnership, including Funky Town and How Will I Know.
The 2024 album The Line moves from a liquid title track into heavier material before returning to melodic drum and bass. The label described the sequence as building in energy, with a jump-up track towards the end.
In January 2025, Untouchable brought together three more tracks. Heartbeat paired a ragga vocal with jump-up sounds, while the title track and Get Me Out leaned towards dancefloor drum and bass. The later Out Of Time EP developed the soulful side of his dancefloor writing.
