Objectiv came through making minimal drum and bass, then found a looser approach in the samples, hip-hop influences, and 1990s jump-up of his work with Sofa Sound. In a 2026 interview, he described that shift as a natural reflection of changes in his life and the way he spends time in the studio.
Walk The Talk Vol. 1, released in September 2026, brings that approach into a seven-track set. Earlier singles Feeling Me, 2008, and Thing Come Good sit alongside four further tracks, including the title tune and Cooshti.
His earlier catalogue includes Sunday Rave, a collaboration with Emilian Wonk presented by Wonk as underground jump-up. For Walk the Talk, Objectiv described spending longer with his ideas, playing them out and deciding what belonged before sending them to the label.
