Behind the music
About Resurgence.
Resurgence are a drum & bass duo from Oradea, Romania, formed by producer Cristian Lucaci and vocalist Raluca Stan. Together, they blend driving dancefloor energy with melodic finesse, creating a sound defined by both emotional depth and technical precision.
Emerging from Romania’s growing bass scene, Resurgence have built a reputation for their ability to unite power and emotion across finely crafted productions. Their music reflects a shared passion for the genre’s expressive potential, drawing on both liquid and dancefloor influences to create richly layered tracks that resonate across club systems and home listening alike.
The duo made a notable return with their release on DNBB Records, titled Only You, an EP that showcases four high-energy cuts merging sharp production with vocal warmth. The project reinforces their commitment to bridging the gap between soulful songwriting and full-throttle drum & bass intensity.
With each release, Resurgence continue to evolve, carrying the sound of Romanian drum & bass onto the international stage while remaining grounded in their trademark fusion of emotion, rhythm and atmosphere.
