About Silence Groove.
Silence Groove is a Polish producer whose drum and bass records combine detailed breakbeats with the textures of ambient music, downtempo, and techno. His first drum and bass release was the Love You Lose EP with Skeletone on Soul Deep Recordings in 2011. The pair followed it with Calling for You through Expressions, the Fokuz Recordings imprint.
He began releasing on Offworld Recordings with the Eat Me Softly EP in 2012, building a continuing relationship that also produced Angelic and Orbital Cruise. His work has appeared on Integral Records, ThirtyOne Recordings, and Seba’s Secret Operations, alongside a Liquicity catalogue that includes Moon That Never Sets.
There is a consistent interest in space and atmosphere in his productions, with sustained harmonies, organic samples, and carefully worked drums. Those elements connect his club records with music designed for closer listening, without making every release fit the same style.
In October 2024, he released the 13-track album All You Need through Urban Movements Music. He also runs the Urban Movements podcast, where his selections reach beyond drum and bass into other electronic music.
