Behind the music
About Spektiv.
Spektiv is a Bristol-based Drum & Bass producer recognised for his distinctive blend of organic production and forward-thinking song structure. His music captures the depth and texture of the Bristol sound, combining refined production detail with heavy, club-ready weight.
After contributing to releases across respected labels including Lifestyle Music and Addictive Behaviour Records, Spektiv made his full EP debut on Overview Music with the Modern Walking EP in October 2025. The release showcased his ability to balance intricate rhythm work with melodic subtlety, establishing him as one of the most exciting new voices within contemporary Drum & Bass.
Spektiv’s collaboration with Klinical on the 2024 single Tokyo further highlighted his versatility, pairing deep atmospherics with tight, kinetic energy. Rooted in Bristol’s long-standing bass culture, his productions reflect a commitment to quality and progression that aligns him with the new generation shaping the sound of modern Drum & Bass.
