Behind the music

About Tsuki.

Tsuki is a British drum and bass producer and DJ whose work grew from jump-up into a broader combination of melodic and club-focused writing. He began producing and DJing at 17, and has described Camo & Krooked's melodies as an early influence. A strong tune, for him, can carry both emotion and the energy needed for a crowded room.

His debut album, Redemption, was released through Crucast in November 2020. Built over roughly two years, it gave him space to show different aspects of his production, including jump-up, rollers, liquid, and the UK bassline he was making alongside drum and bass. He has explained that the album's range came from wanting to represent the music he enjoyed rather than keep the project inside one category.

Collaborations with Bru-C and Dread MC followed the same open approach, with vocal ideas helping shape the direction of the tracks. Tsuki subsequently established his own label, Tsunami (UK), in 2022. By his October 2026 interview, he had completed the Ride The Wave project and was reflecting on the sounds that first inspired him. He described experimentation as something that can lead a producer back towards earlier interests, keeping a connection between his original influences and the music he makes now.
