Evolution Chamber began as an outlet for Task Horizon before restarting in 2019 with Magnetude and Receptor. James from Magnetude helped organise the relaunch, moving earlier releases to a separate imprint so the collective could begin a new catalogue.
Experimentation and shared studio feedback are part of the artists’ approach. Joe Ford and Ekwols joined the wider release roster, with Ekwols crediting the team’s support for his artistic vision after joining in 2023.
Magnetude’s Muleta brings Spanish and Latin influences into its neurofunk, while Ekwols uses his own vocals on Sleeves Up to express resilience. Larger artist projects include Myselor’s Cosmic Expression album, with the Transmissions series collecting work from several contributors alongside those individual releases.
