Incurzion Audio grew from a collective promoting local DJs in Penarth, South Wales. Zak King founded the project in 2018, and he and fellow founder TJ developed it into a bass music label with an interest in emerging artists and unusual production ideas.
We Are Incurzion Vol.1 brought together Hexa, Spectral, KL, Rantik, and No Patterns at the end of 2020. The founders identified halftime, liquid, and deeper minimal drum and bass within the collection, allowing different approaches to sit under the same label.
Support for artists has remained part of the project’s purpose. Spectral described the sustained backing he received, alongside Incurzion’s commitment to introducing new talent and equal representation. That work continues the collective’s original interest in helping local DJs find opportunities.
