Intrigue Music grew from the Bristol club night of the same name, taking its deep, musical drum and bass into records. Ben Soundscape established the label in 2009, releasing music from The Insiders, Break, Survival, and Random Movement, alongside Roy Green & Protone, Raw Q, and Superior Selectionz.
The night’s birthdays have given the label occasions to bring artists together. Intrigue 12 marked its 12th anniversary in 2015, while Intrigue 19 included Ben Soundscape’s Seize the Day in 2022. Singles by Myth appeared that year, too. Earlier releases such as The Insiders’ The Rhythm EP and Limelight connect the catalogue with the producers behind its Bristol roots.
