Skankandbass began as a drum and bass promotion platform in 2009, with finding unsigned producers central to its work. The Introducing series took that discovery into releases, making newcomer singles available as free downloads while the platform continued to promote music from other artists and labels.
Deadline’s Through Your Eyes / Bitter and Walk:r’s Blue Soul / Steppa are among those two-track releases. Music from Invadhertz and Shibumi also appears in the catalogue, turning the platform’s support for producers into a place to release their own recordings.
