Behind the music
About Arch Origin.
Arch Origin is a producer from Groningen in the Netherlands whose releases connect Soulvent, Hospital, and Goldfat. His early Soulvent tracks Mesmerize and City By Night led into the six-track Value Shift EP in 2017, following a Hospital release the previous year.
Value Shift made space for different approaches within the same project. Escapism featured Anna-Eva, revisiting a track that had first appeared on Soul Sessions Vol.2, while Mr Porter joined Recluse. Soulvent described Escapism as a liquid roller and Urban Periphery as a deeper, techier track, with the half-tempo Empyrean interlude providing a further change of pace.
His relationship with the label also extended to its stage at the first Hospitality In The Park in 2016, alongside a set at Liquicity’s Winterfestival that year. His own channel preserves that earlier catalogue beside later material, including a Jessie Ware rework and the 2025 upload Fixation.
