Clarity's drum & bass keeps a close relationship with techno. Based in Bristol, he entered the genre as a recording artist in 2011, building a catalogue across Exit Records, Samurai Music, Cylon Recordings, and UVB-76 Music. His own description emphasises a minimal approach, with individual sounds given space and a close focus on rhythm.
Infinite, released on 8 December 2014, gave that approach an album-length setting. Its 13 tracks include Segment with Skeptical, Cyclone with Indigo, and Subterrane with ENA.
His catalogue moves between solo work and shared releases. Tendrils appeared opposite Mantra's Mindgames, while Other Sights / Rohypnol connects his work with Overlook's. That relationship continued on UVB76-016, released in June 2020: three original Clarity productions were joined by his remix of Overlook's All Of Them Witches.
The release brought Torsion, Stateless, and Taking Effect together as his first solo EP for UVB-76 Music.
