Behind the music
About Dorian.
Dorian is the earlier drum and bass alias of the Austrian producer who went on to develop IAMDOOMED. His Dorian releases ranged across neurofunk and jump-up, with music appearing on Switch! Recordings, New Playaz, Viper Recordings, Innerground Records, and Mainframe Recordings.
Mainframe became a recurring home for the project, including collaborations with Skore. Their Powertool / Be Afraid single was released worldwide in August 2017, following a Beatport exclusive. The label's accompanying material identified Dorian as a Viennese producer and placed the record after his Ritual EP. Hamilton subsequently remixed Powertool.
The catalogue also includes Retro Driver / Cyberpunk, Back To U, Monsta, Rock Bottom, and 404. He later moved towards deeper drum and bass as IAMDOOMED, a change of sound described by his agency as a deliberate break with the earlier project.
