Behind the music
About Dub Head.
Dub Head is a drum and bass producer from Kyiv, Ukraine, now based in Bristol. His music has found homes on Dispatch Recordings, Sofa Sound, ThirtyOne Recordings, and Transparent Audio, with a catalogue that places detailed production alongside funk and atmosphere.
The Entropy EP appeared on Syndrome Audio in 2015. Dispatch releases followed, including Bad Signal, Template, and a contribution to the label’s Dubplate series. His debut album, Bring You Back Online, arrived on Dispatch in August 2019, bringing collaborators including M.Justa, Black Barrel, Eastcolors, Scepticz, and Gusto into the project.
Alongside that Dispatch work, Dub Head released Meltdown / Space Worm and Jelly Fish / Bass Face with Sofa Sound. He returned to the Bristol label for the Operator EP in 2024. The following year brought Waves on Transparent Audio and the Passed Test EP on ThirtyOne Recordings, extending a discography built across several different drum and bass imprints.
