Hobzee is the drum and bass alias of Andy Hobbs. Alongside Dan Blishen, better known as Zyon Base, he forms Silent Dust, and the pair co-own none60.
Before Silent Dust, Hobzee and Zyon Base released together under their own names. none60 later collected that earlier body of work on Wow That’s Not What I Call Silent Dust, drawing together tracks originally released through labels including Fokuz, Samurai, IM:LTD and Nu Directions.
Hobzee’s solo and collaborative catalogue includes Something Sleeps EP, This Heart, Sunspots with Tim Reaper, and work with artists including Uneven, Wagz and Jaskin. His output continues to move between standalone material, remixes and collaborative releases while remaining connected to the none60 catalogue.
In August 2026, Hobzee makes his first appearance on Metalheadz with Things Are Different Now EP. The release includes Edge Of The Sea, a detailed, groove-led cut built around wave sounds, shifting hats and carefully controlled low-end.
