About Hubwar.
Hubwar is a Montpellier producer and DJ whose sound-system interests extend across jungle, dubstep, footwork, UK garage, grime, and hip-hop. He founded Noizion Recordz in 2014, creating a home for his own music and releases by other producers. His early development also included WAAN, a project with Nekochan that explored glitch-hop.
His album Collapse Era expanded the presentation of his music beyond a conventional release. The 15 original tracks were accompanied by a French science-fiction audiobook and a DJ set, with a limited edition issued on a crystal-like USB drive. Its package brought together music, fiction, and artwork by Kut3r, while Lophide co-composed Outside Zone.
After concentrating on running Noizion Recordz, Hubwar returned with Danse Macabre in April 2026. The label’s account of that period describes continued writing and the circulation of dubplates to DJs and radio shows.
