Behind the music
About Hydrolikz.
Hydrolikz is a French drum and bass producer whose work centres on jump-up. Based in Dijon, he began producing in 2016, building a catalogue across labels including Young Guns, Breeze Recs, Space Records Be, and Liondub International.
His contribution to Liondub’s Street Series arrived in January 2021 as volume 56, Lift Off. The five-track EP paired its title track with Watching Me, Safer, Octopus, and Knoth. Space Records also became a home for his material, with Python remixing Alien Meeting and Licid reworking Energy.
The releases continued across several imprints in 2024: Flying High on INTO the DARK, Rage on Screwface Records, and GOING ON on Fuck Glam Records. Screwface also issued his Sub Zero as a free download that December.
