Behind the music
About In:Most.
In:Most are Josh Croft and Bailey Greer, whose partnership started online while they were still at school on opposite sides of the world. Josh was in Britain, Bailey in Australia, and a shared folder of music became the beginning of a collaboration that later brought them together in Cambridge.
Their debut album Voyager arrived on Soulvent Records in 2020. Dream Sequences followed in 2026, built from a gradual run of singles and EPs before the duo realised the tracks belonged together as a full album. Liquid and deeper, technical D&B sit alongside garage, halftime and ambient pieces, with science-fiction imagery running through the music and artwork.
Josh’s work in game sound design and Bailey’s love of games feed those details. For the album’s opening, Josh recorded electromagnetic interference from his laptop and a PlayStation, making the machines themselves part of the sound. SOLAH, Visionobi, Bop and Hillsdom are among the collaborators, each brought into an idea that suited them.
Bailey returned to Brisbane in late 2023, but the working relationship continued through the same shared folder they had used from the beginning. They trade sessions across time zones and recognise an In:Most sound even when one writes most of a track. The distance has changed their routine, while leaving the musical partnership intact.
