K Motionz is a British drum and bass producer and DJ whose catalogue runs from jump-up to vocal dancefloor records. Early material with Distress Signal, alongside Kanine and Simula, sits beside later work with singers and UK rappers.
His collaborations have often helped move that sound forward. Hack It, with Duskee, became a notable release during 2020, and Break later remixed it. High Note and Only You, both with Emily Makis, developed his vocal-led work further. Speaking to UKF, he credited the strength of Duskee’s vocal for helping Hack It connect with listeners.
His Crowd Control shows brought the audience around the decks, with a filmed Auckland set in 2022 helping document the format. The proximity matters to him: in an interview with HUNGER, he described the different feeling created when ravers are within reaching distance instead of separated by a large stage.
The seven-track mixtape REDLINE, released in February 2026, brought his interest in UK rap into focus. Its collaborators included Clavish, Songer, Capo Lee, Arka, and Makis. He told Mixtape Madness that working with rappers and singers had been the plan from the start, with the record reflecting what he wanted to hear both in the studio and at a rave. The limited USB edition also included bonus tracks and stems, giving producers a way into the music beyond simply playing it.
