Behind the music

About KAYA FYAH.

KAYA FYAH is a singer, songwriter and MC whose musical roots are in London’s jungle and sound-system culture. She first took to the stage at thirteen alongside Congo Natty, an early experience that developed into a vocal practice moving between singing and MCing. Her music brings that background together with melody and a strong emphasis on community.

Her debut album, 1994 (Born In The Jungle), arrived in 2024, drawing together contributors including Congo Natty, Ed Solo and Top Cat. The project connected her own writing and performances with figures from different generations of jungle. She also announced an artist-led album launch party.

That collaborative approach continues in Rebel Music Master with G-Class for Jungle Cakes. Released in 2026 as part of the wider Welcome to the Jungle album project, the track puts her vocal hooks at the centre of G-Class’s production.
