Malaky’s records sit within the soulful side of drum and bass, with a long-running place in Fokuz Recordings’ catalogue. Releases such as Serenity and See Through appear alongside collaborations, giving listeners both solo tracks and partnerships to explore.

The two-track Serenity EP arrived in April 2020, pairing Serenity with Believe. Fokuz places it within its liquid, chilled-out, and soulful catalogue, describing a musical direction that recurs across Malaky’s releases rather than relying on the label name alone.

Collaboration is part of that picture. Get Funky, with Intelligent Manners, appeared on the latter’s Funky Joints EP in May 2024. It is a shared track within someone else’s EP, rather than a Malaky solo project, a distinction that matters when following the records through a catalogue.

His own SoundCloud also preserves Requiem, Heatwave, and Leaves, alongside the label releases. Those individual tracks sit comfortably with the recurring soulful direction Fokuz documents in its release catalogue. For new listeners, the two-track Serenity release offers a concise introduction, with See Through and the work with Intelligent Manners opening up more of the same producer’s music.
