About Plasteez.
Plasteez is a Dutch producer and instrumental artist from Almere, Netherlands. With more than 25 years of making music, his background is rooted in hip-hop, soul, jazz, and vinyl culture, with work extending into drum & bass, breakbeats, and dubstep.
Sampling and drums sit at the centre of his approach. His instrumental catalogue includes Amber Tones and the beat tape Streetsoul, which draws on soul samples and earlier production sketches. Alongside his solo recordings, he produces music for rappers and vocal artists.
His drum & bass track Broken Windows explores the liquid side of his sound, bringing together atmospheric textures, deep bass, and soulful influences. Dead Air, released in October 2026, takes a different direction: a 140 BPM production combining halftime rhythms, dubstep, breakbeat, and hip-hop, built from original sounds rather than samples.
