Behind the music
About Robustus.
Robustus began making deep, dark drum & bass in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2009. Introducing a guest radio mix in 2012, he described himself as both producer and DJ, placing his own forthcoming material alongside music from newer producers and established names. That mix included his Converge and a collaboration with Roka, Restless.
His subsequent recorded work includes the four-track Achromatope EP on Syndrome Audio. Alongside its title track, Saggitarius, and Blind Faith, the release features LaMeduza on Is It All. Another pairing, Exile / Seeking, also forms part of his production catalogue.
Collaboration has remained part of that output: his own account includes Falling with Moody and Trancemission with Krivak. Demand released Broken in December 2020, and his later catalogue includes Loose Halves on Mauoq Music's Combos #03, released in November 2023.
