Behind the music
About Voicians.
Voicians is the project of German producer, vocalist, and DJ Daniel, whose work extends from drum and bass into electronic rock and soundtrack music. Singing is part of his own recordings as well as his collaborations: his role moves between writing and production, vocal features, and performance.
His route into making music began with electronic rock. Hearing Celldweller in a gaming video led him towards a FiXT remix competition for Frozen, where he first experimented with remixing audio rather than relying on MIDI sounds. That experience opened a continuing relationship with FiXT and a catalogue that includes A Matter of Time and Wasteland.
His collaborations, remixes, and vocal appearances have involved artists including Maduk and MUZZ. Releases through Hospital Records and Liquicity sit alongside work for electronic labels beyond drum and bass. Those different settings reflect the breadth of the project rather than a move into one fixed sound.
Voicians also runs Velodic, his sample label, supplying audio samples and loops for other producers.
