Liquicity began in Amsterdam as a YouTube channel in 2008 and has since grown into one of the most influential liquid drum & bass brands in the world. Created to showcase melodic and emotive sounds that were underrepresented at the time, it quickly evolved into a label, community and international event series with a dedicated global following.
The label is spearheaded by Maduk, who has overseen its transformation into a platform for both established names and fresh talent. Releases have come from some of the scene’s biggest artists, including Netsky and Hybrid Minds, alongside a wave of rising producers nurtured through Liquicity’s compilations and singles. Known for combining uplifting melodies with rolling basslines, the label has defined the modern sound of liquid drum & bass.
Beyond recorded music, Liquicity has built a reputation for large-scale festivals in the Netherlands and beyond, alongside club nights across Europe and a long-running Rinse FM residency. With its unmistakable aesthetic and dedicated fan base, Liquicity continues to push liquid drum & bass onto bigger stages while staying true to its underground roots.
