Vortex Involute is a drum and bass producer from Yekaterinburg, Russia. His independent catalogue includes Closing Doors, The Tune Without a Title, and No More Darkness, alongside releases and remixes for several drum and bass labels.
The four-track Motion Blur EP appeared on Audio Boutique in November 2009. Its tracklist includes the title track, Only Rain, Acoustic, and Massive. Later releases include The Test on Liquid Brilliants and Southern Wind, a collaboration with NClear and Nailman on Kos.Mos.Music.
His catalogue also includes work in both directions of the remix process: Nelver remixed Closing Doors for Celsius, while Vortex Involute reworked Dissident’s Dub Moloch for Audio Boutique. That remix was released in 2021, as was his version of Silent Extent’s Falling Down on Close 2 Death.
