Behind the music
About Wreckage Machinery.
Wreckage Machinery is an Austrian drum and bass production project connected to Vienna’s electronic music community. Fellow producer Mefjus has identified him as Chris and credited him with introducing Mefjus to Daniel Ignite at Trust in Music, placing him within an early network of Austrian producers.
The catalogue includes Cosmic Wanderer and the six-track Endgame EP, both released in 2021. A later release credits Wreckage Machinery with remixing Artemis, a track involving Edictum, Turbo Knight, and Magnus, rather than presenting it as his own original composition.
The producer also works as Trent Ivor. On that project’s website, he explains that he gradually accumulated music that did not belong in the club-focused Wreckage Machinery catalogue. Establishing another name allowed him to release that material on its own terms, making the distinction between the two projects part of his account of his development.
