Beta Recordings is closely connected to John B’s music, with albums including Light Speed, Electrostep, and In:transit released through his own operation. The catalogue follows his recordings across different periods, alongside submissions from other producers.
That history was revisited in Timelines (1995–2020), which brought remastered tracks together with previously unheard archive material. Red Sky and Starburst were among the recordings included, while a reissue of Visions returned another part of his earlier work to circulation.
The related imprints Tangent Recordings and Nu Electro retain their own names. Together with Beta, they give the wider operation more than one outlet for its releases.
