DJ Fresh and Adam F established Breakbeat Kaos in 2003, announcing their partnership to drum and bass listeners that April. They planned a shared home for their own recordings, with space for music from other producers too.
Pendulum’s Hold Your Colour became part of that history alongside Fresh’s releases. Later recordings and remixes involving Fox Stevenson continued the catalogue’s drum and bass connections, taking the label beyond the music of its two founders.
