Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, and Swan-E founded Circus Records in 2009 around bass music. FuntCase, Cookie Monsta, Roksonix, and Brown & Gammon were among its early artists, helping build a catalogue with a broader focus than drum and bass alone.
The Pit, by Adam F, Doctor P, and Method Man, connects that bass music world with drum and bass. Circus Electric and DPMO developed as related outlets alongside the main label, giving the wider operation additional names under which to release music.
