Hybrid Minds launched Hybrid Music in May 2016 after releasing through other labels. Their own imprint gave them control over the recordings and how each release was presented, keeping the music and its presentation within the duo’s operation.
The album Elements and Tides are part of that own-label history. Vocal collaborations are a recurring feature, with releases involving DRS, Tom Cane, Lily Denning, and other singers sharing space in the catalogue.
