DJ Marky runs Innerground Records, bringing his Brazilian drum and bass background together with music from producers further afield. His recordings with XRS helped shape the early catalogue, and Random Movement became a longstanding contributor.
Marky has also found signings through other DJs’ selections. Hearing Fabio play Paul SG’s Finding The Right Words on the radio led him to sign it. Later, Innerground 100 brought Marky and Random Movement together with contributors including Data 3 and Carlito.
Liquid and funk feature in Liftin Spirits’ Inside Edge, while Polaris’ One More Time is another of the individual releases. Dunk and Tyke also appear in the catalogue, alongside Marky’s own records and collaborations.
