Kos.Mos.Music was founded in Moscow in 2006 by Roman Paramonov and Electrosoul System, also known as Andrey Burtaev. Mellow and deep drum and bass were part of its sound from the beginning, within a broader interest in breakbeat electronic music.
The early catalogue included BOP, Cutworks, and Abstract Elements. Ten vinyl releases followed between 2007 and 2010, before earlier recordings became available digitally in 2011 alongside new material. Contributions from Future Engineers, Subwave, and Makoto extended the label’s connections beyond its Russian base.
