Rockafella - Indica Dub [Vibe City] | DnBUK Premiere

Bristol-born, Brooklyn-based producer Rockafella makes his Vibe City debut with Indica Dub / Paradise, a two-track release that puts two different shades of liquid drum and bass side by side.

For this DnBUK premiere, we are sharing Indica Dub. It opens with a laid-back, hip hop-leaning rhythm, live-sounding bass, electric piano and guitar before the track opens out into rolling drums and a wider low end. The female vocal stays woven into the arrangement rather than taking over, leaving the groove to do its work.

There is a warmth to the track that carries through the drums. Jungle-informed edits add movement around the percussion, but the feel remains unhurried and melodic, making the change into full tempo feel like a natural lift rather than a hard turn.

Rockafella's background reaches from jungle and UK garage into the more melodic end of drum and bass, and Indica Dub makes a good case for that balance. It is bright, soulful and easy on the ear, with enough detail tucked into the rhythm to reward a closer listen.

Indica Dub / Paradise is Vibe City's eighth release and is available now on Beatport and Spotify, ahead of its worldwide release on 30 October 2026. Find the release via Vibe City.
