About A Little Sound.
A Little Sound is a singer, songwriter, and DJ who brings live vocals into her drum and bass sets. A self-taught musician with a musical-theatre background, she began uploading acoustic covers as a child. Moving to Bristol and meeting the Born On Road collective gave her singing a different setting.
Her recorded work has grown alongside that live format. Collaborations with Friction, Kanine, and Disrupta were followed by Situation with Sugababes in 2024. That year she also hosted a BBC Radio 1 Residency and took her A Little Sound System headline shows around the UK.
The 2025 EP A Lotta Noise put her own songwriting further forward. Its track Stars, made with Arcando and co-written with Katy B, came together from a shared session in London. She described it as a song about the change in feeling when day turns into night. Her catalogue also includes Sunlight with Andromedik and Basstripper, bringing her vocal work into another meeting of melodic dancefloor and jump-up.
