Drum & Bass Artist Profile, Discography & Events

Elisa Do Brasil's career connects Brazilian roots with France's free-party and drum and bass cultures. Born in Brasília and raised in France, she began the Massive residency at Paris's Rex Club in 1999. Her early recorded work included the mixes Massive Party and So Massive, followed by the albums First Stroke in 2009 and Rolling The Dice in 2012.

In 2013, she returned to the Rex with Forever DNB, continuing a relationship with club promotion alongside DJing and production. A later chapter began with Vahana Records, co-founded with Bobby in 2022. Its opening release brought together their different approaches, with contributions from Dopa Beatz and her long-standing collaborator Miss Trouble. Speaking to UKF about the sessions, Elisa described the pleasure she took in chopping breaks and adding effects, while Peplum drew her Brazilian background into a warehouse setting.

Her growing commitment to jungle selection led to Black Swan Music, launched with Saji Tari as Vahana's sister label in 2024. The pair described it to 1 More Thing as a home for the sound they wanted to play and support. In 2026, Elisa's The Magician release party also marked the start of her monthly Carte Noire residency at Paris's Cirque Electrique.
