Gribr is a rising UK drum and bass producer whose debut EP on FTR Sounds is making serious noise in the jump-up scene. With five years of production experience and a year of live DJ sets behind him, Gribr has quickly emerged as a name to watch, bringing gritty textures and explosive energy to every release.
Personally scouted by FTR Sounds label boss Profile, Gribr’s sound is defined by raw, no-frills power — heavy basslines, punchy drums, and dark, driving atmospheres that cut straight to the core of the dancefloor. His six-track debut is a relentless statement of intent, offering peak-time ammunition for DJs and fans alike.
While still early in his journey, Gribr’s music already shows a mature grasp of tension, groove and structure. Tracks like Break In, The One, and Shift exemplify his stripped-back yet high-impact style — a sound steeped in jump-up tradition but executed with fresh precision.
With a foot firmly in the underground and the support of a respected label behind him, Gribr is poised to carve out a space of his own in the next wave of UK drum and bass.
