Krinjah

Krinjah is a Canadian jungle producer and DJ whose music became part of the country’s early-2000s jungle scene. His Hand Grenade releases put reggae voices and heavily edited breaks at the centre of the records, while DJing and remix work carried the same interest into other settings.

The label catalogue helped establish his name among producers making that strain of jungle outside the UK. A later release, Say Goodnight, appeared through Junglelivity in 2008, with Eileen Quashie contributing the vocal. It connects a singer with an original recording rather than simply lifting a familiar song into a faster arrangement.

Remixes and bootlegs remain another part of his activity. His own artist account carries versions of songs by Koffee and Sigma, alongside older uploads such as Sound Bwoy Bawling. Those are reworkings of existing material, distinct from the original records under his name.

His current accounts place him within a Canadian circuit connecting Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. The older vinyl releases and newer uploads make it possible to follow that work across different periods, with jungle remaining the clear link between the studio records and his DJ identity.
