Kryptomedic is a drum and bass MC and lyricist who grew up near Boston before making his home in Germany. His early musical interests included hip-hop, punk, and ska. After arriving in Mannheim and later moving to Munich, he became involved in the scene through promotion, radio, and a period running a booking agency.
His role centres on words and hosting. Eatbrain’s artist profile describes a range that takes in deep and liquid drum and bass as well as neurofunk, placing him across different kinds of sets. In the studio, his credited appearances include work with State of Mind, AKOV, Disphonia, and Fragz on the Kryptomedic EP.
That collaborative discography continued with Skrimor on Animals through Evolution Chamber and Selek on the Baaj EP. His release hub also documents Urgency / Run Em Down with Impex.
