Behind the music

About Lurch.

Lurch is a Bristol-based drum and bass producer whose own description centres on liquid and deep rollers. A multi-instrumentalist before his drum and bass releases, he began DJing and producing in 2006 after becoming interested in deeper dubstep. He also played in an Oxford-based punk band before concentrating more seriously on production in 2012.

Early releases appeared through labels including Soul Deep and LDNB Music. His connection with Intrigue Music subsequently became a recurring part of his catalogue, including Lifespan, a collaboration with Joakuim on the label’s 15th-anniversary collection in 2018.

That relationship continued with the Muse EP and Who Can Say EP. On the latter, he worked with RoyGreen & Protone and Collette Warren.
