Mista Trick is a Bristol producer combining jazz and swing references with drum and bass. His work includes bootleg remixes, original records, and the live Mista Trick Collective, as well as running the Swing & Bass label.
His debut album You appeared on Freshly Squeezed in 2021. For the record, he assembled collaborators to write original music with a vintage feel, then approached those recordings as remix material. Guests included Kathika on Do What You Do, Blackout JA and Tenisha Edwards on About to Blow, and Elle & The Pocket Belles on Drive.
The Mista Trick Collective began in 2020 and developed into a six-piece live act. Real drums are part of its stage setup, giving the producer’s drum and bass a band format alongside his DJ work.
