Behind the music
About Nautika.
Nautika is a drum and bass DJ and producer whose music is built around melodic detail, real instrumentation and a background in classical music. His production style favours layered arrangements rather than flat club tools, with a sound that moves through uplifting melodies, rolling grooves and textured atmosphere.
He has been producing music for six years, with strong support from Hospital Records and recent releases on Elevate Records, Yamatai Recordings and Deep In The Jungle.
Across his confirmed work, Nautika’s identity sits in a melodic corner of drum and bass without losing sight of DJ function. The focus is on musical structure, movement and detail, giving his tracks enough weight for a set while keeping the writing expressive and carefully shaped.
