Behind the music
About Nemy.
Nemy came to drum and bass through techno, and that earlier production experience still shapes his approach to synthesis and percussion. The Serbian producer and DJ has spoken to UKF about bringing techno's use of noise into his tracks, while naming Xtrah, Nymfo, and Posij among his drum and bass inspirations.
His route into the music also passed through Delikt's parties. In his UKF interview, he credited the crew with introducing him to the genre and sharing records.
By his 2023 interview with Inside DnB, Nemy had released music through RAM Records, Skankandbass, and Dispatch Recordings, and was making his first appearance on Hardpoint Recordings. He described techno as his second musical love and explained that he deliberately brought some of its drum programming into his drum and bass. His relationship with Vandal Records continued with the Morana EP, released in June 2026.
