The Hard Way brings together Limewax, Bong-Ra, and Thrasher. The project draws on drum and bass, hardcore, jungle, breakcore, dubstep, and rock, carrying the three artists’ interests into a shared band identity.
An early single appeared on PRSPCT in February 2012, credited to Thrasher vs. Bong-Ra vs. Limewax. Their self-titled debut album followed on the same label in May 2014. Its 14 tracks included No Snow No Show, Dead Rockstars, Total Fucking Nihilism, and THW Wrecking Crew.
The Death Kicks EP followed in November 2015, bringing together its title track, BLCKMTL, and Panzerschokolade. PRSPCT described the trio’s approach as hardcore drum and bass. Thrasher also runs PRSPCT.
